Reinstating Original Leaded Lights in a Listed Building – Wirral

13th June 2015

West Kirby Museum

Founded in 1892 the West Kirby Museum on the Wirral houses a collection that tells the story of a thousand years of St. Bridget’s Church and the local area.

K. G. Bell Ltd was commissioned to reinstate the original leaded light designs. Other windows on the building are originals and K. G. Bell created new window frames and leaded light panes to match these originals in colour and design.

Patterned glass was used to enhance security and the leaded lights were protectively glazed on the exterior to prevent damage from vandalism.
